Leonidas Belgian Chocolates

Leonidas Belgian Chocolates has a small shop in the Cornelian Building at Kemps Corner. Our address is 104 A. K. Marg, right in the heart of Cumballa Hill. It’s a very well-known part of South Mumbai, but our shop keeps things quite low-key. We spend our days surrounded by chocolates, which isn't a bad way to earn a living. The space is kept cool to make sure the stock stays in good condition, so it’s always a nice break from the heat outside. We aren't a massive operation with dozens of staff members. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter. We spend a lot of time arranging the boxes and helping people pick out what they want. It isn't a high-pressure sales environment. People usually come in knowing they want something sweet, and we just help them find it. The neighborhood has a lot of regular walkers, and we see many of the same faces every week. We don't do big advertising campaigns or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the shop clean and the chocolates fresh. It’s a straightforward business model that has worked for us. We like the quiet atmosphere of the building and the friendly nature of the people who live nearby. If you are ever walking through Kemps Corner, you will see our sign on A. K. Marg. It is a nice little spot for us to be.
