Leather House

Leather House is situated in the Ghatakpar Industrial Estate in Dharavi, right at A2. We are located across from the Gold Fill Plaza. If you know Dharavi, you know it is a hub for all things leather. Our place is a mix of a workshop and a small area where we show what we have made. The smell of tanned leather is the first thing you notice when you walk in. It is a strong, earthy scent that never really goes away. We have rolls of hides stacked in the corners and sewing machines that have seen better days but still run perfectly. It is a busy environment. There is always the sound of cutting tools or the hum of the machines in the background. We are not a fancy boutique. We are a working industrial unit. People come to us for jackets, bags, and all sorts of leather items. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stitching. The estate is always buzzing with activity, and our little corner is no different. Sometimes the narrow lanes nearby get blocked with deliveries, but that is just life here. We have been at this location for years and have seen the neighborhood change around us. It is a grit-and-grime kind of place, but we take pride in the actual pieces we put together. It is honest work with leather, nothing more and nothing less.
