Laxmi Data Services

You’ll find us at 4/12 in the Sagar Tarang Building over in Bandra West. It’s a nice enough spot, though the building is a bit older and shows its age in the corners. Laxmi Data Services is really just a few of us sitting at computers for most of the day. We handle a lot of data entry and clerical stuff that other people don't really want to do. It’s repetitive work, but we’ve gotten quite fast at it over the years. We aren't some big tech firm with beanbags and free snacks. We have desks, some decent chairs because our backs get sore, and a small pantry for making coffee. Bandra West is a lively place to be, but once we are inside the building, it’s mostly just the clicking of keyboards and the fan whirring. Sometimes the internet goes down and we all just sit there looking at each other until it comes back on. We don’t promise anything magical. We just take the papers or files given to us and put the information where it needs to go. It’s honest, quiet work. We have a few regular clients who have been sending us their work for years because they know we just get on with it without any fuss. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s our life. We like the neighborhood, especially being able to walk out and get some fresh air.
