Laqshya House is located in Saraswati Bagh, over in Jogeshwari East. We are part of the Growa Industrial Estate, which is a busy place with all sorts of businesses tucked away in different corners. Our building is right next to the Rameshwar Temple, so we often hear the bells and the activity from there throughout the day. Working in a media company sounds like it might be glamorous, but for us, it’s mostly just hard work in a regular office. We spend a lot of time at our desks or in meetings, trying to keep up with everything that needs to happen. The industrial estate has that old-school feel to it, and it can get pretty crowded during lunch hours when everyone comes out to the local food stalls. We’ve been in this spot for some time now, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite the busy nature of the media world, our day-to-day life is fairly grounded. We deal with the same traffic as everyone else in Jogeshwari and the same rainy days that slow everything down. Our office is functional and gets the job done without being overly flashy. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to make sure everything runs as smooth as it can in a busy city like Mumbai. It’s just our workplace, plain and simple, where we show up and do what needs to be done.
