We've been at Maskati Mahal for a bit now. Our office is up on the fourth floor, tucked away in room 119. It’s a busy spot right on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. There’s always noise from the street below and the trains at the nearby Marine Line station. We do advertising work here, but it's not like the movies. Most days are just us sitting around cluttered desks trying to figure out a design or a layout for a client. It isn't a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get things done. Most of us take the train and walk over from the station every morning. People often get lost finding the building because the entrance is a bit tucked away, but once you're inside, it’s just a normal workplace with plenty of paper and old computers. We handle different types of ads, mostly print or whatever people need for their shops. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks and we have to go downstairs to the local tea stall. It’s a small team here. We don't have a big corporate HR department or anything. We just talk to each other across the room. The view from the window isn't much, just more buildings and the street below. We've been in this part of Worli Koliwada for a while. It’s a good area because everything is close. We just try to finish the work on time and get home. It’s simple enough.
