Krazy Fabrics

Krazy Fabrics is located at Shop No 9 in Hari Market, which sits on 3rd Road in Khar West. We are also quite close to Diamond Garden and St Road, and the Vn Purav Marg isn't far off either. If you are looking for a landmark, we are near the Vrindavan Hotel. The market is a very busy place, and our shop is just one of many, but we have been here long enough that people know the name. Inside, it's just rolls and rolls of different fabrics. We have silks, cottons, and all sorts of materials stacked up in piles. Sometimes it’s a bit hard to move around because there is so much cloth everywhere. I usually sit on a small stool near the entrance. The light in the market isn't always great, so customers often take the fabric out to the doorway to see the real color in the sunlight. Khar West is a lively area, and there is always some kind of commotion on the street. We don't have any polished sales people or uniforms. It's just a few of us who know about cloth. We don't have any mission statement or anything like that. We just sell fabric to people who want to make clothes or curtains. The shop gets quite hot in the summer because of all the fabric trapping the heat, but we have a big fan going. It’s a simple business. You come in, you pick a cloth, we measure it out with the brass ruler on the counter, and that is all there is to it.
