We are Kothari Decorators, and you can find us at 10 Ratan Mahal on Shraddhanand Road in Ghatkopar West. We are quite close to the Hindusabha Hospital, which is the main landmark we tell everyone to look for. Our business has been around this part of Mumbai for quite a long time. It’s a family-style setup here, so things aren't always perfectly polished, but we know what we are doing. We spend most of our time dealing with decorations for all sorts of local events. The office at Ratan Mahal is usually full of fabric samples, sketches, and various bits of hardware we use for setting things up. It’s a busy atmosphere, especially during the wedding season when things get a bit frantic. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers; we’re just a small team that works hard to get the job done. Sometimes we are up early in the morning loading trucks and other times we are working late at a venue. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up, set things up, and make sure they look right. Ghatkopar is a good place to be because it’s a tight-knit community. We know most of the other shop owners on Shraddhanand Road. We just want to keep doing our work honestly and being a part of the local life here. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we’ve always done. We keep going.
