Koren Textiles Llp is situated in Parel, specifically in the Ashok Towers building on Dr. S.S. Rao Road. We are up on the 26th floor in Wing D. Parel has a long history with textile mills, though nowadays it’s mostly big residential towers and offices. We are part of that change, I guess. Working from a high-rise gives us a good view of Mumbai, but inside the office, it’s just piles of fabric and computers. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s a workspace where we manage our textile business. Most of our time is spent coordinating with suppliers and looking at new designs. The traffic in Mumbai is always a struggle, so we do a lot of our work through calls and emails. We aren't a big corporate giant; we are just a small firm trying to find our place in the market. Sometimes the office feels a bit small for all the samples we keep. We don’t use any marketing tricks or big promises. We just tell people what we have and what we can do. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs fixing or a client who needs something urgently. We take our lunches together and talk about anything other than work for a few minutes. It’s just a group of people working hard in the middle of a very busy city like Mumbai. We just do our best to keep up.
