You can find us at 32/524, Azad Nagar I, on J.P. Road in Andheri West. Mumbai is a loud, fast place, and Andheri is right in the thick of it. Our office is in a spot that’s always buzzing with people and traffic. It’s not a shiny new tower. It’s more of an older building that has seen a lot of years. Inside, there are boxes piled up in the corners and posters from old projects on the walls. We don’t really have a decorating style; it’s just stuff that accumulated over time. The noise from J.P. Road never really stops, so we’ve just learned to talk over it. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the window during the monsoon, so we move the desks back. We’re a small group and we spend most of the day on the phone or typing away. There’s a guy who brings around tea in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day. We don't have fancy boardrooms. If we need to talk, we just pull up a chair wherever there’s space. It’s a bit messy, and the shelves are sagging under the weight of files. But it’s where we work. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for a long time and we know the local shops and the shortcuts to the station. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever comes through the door each morning without making a big deal of it.
