You can find Kids Out Of Homes over in Goregaon West, specifically at Plot No 169 on the second floor of Maxheal House. We are right opposite the Kali Mandir, which is a very easy landmark to spot if you’re coming from Bangur Nagar. The police station is also quite close by, so it’s a very safe and recognizable neighborhood. Our space on the second floor isn't huge, but it's where we get everything done. We focus on various activities and programs, and the office is usually a bit of a mess with flyers and equipment. Goregaon West has grown so much lately, and there are always new families moving into the area. Maxheal House is a decent building, and we’ve gotten to know the other tenants over the years. We aren't some big, polished corporation with a hundred employees. It’s just us here, trying to provide something useful for the community. We don't have a fancy marketing team or anything like that; most people hear about us just by walking past or through someone they know. The traffic near Bangur Nagar can be a bit of a headache during rush hour, but we’ve learned when to leave the office to miss the worst of it. It’s a straightforward operation, and we like being part of the local Goregaon scene. Most days it is just a lot of phone calls and planning, but we keep things moving the way we know how.
