Khosla Profil Pvt. Ltd. is at Laxmi Towers in the B Wing. We are right behind the ICICI building in the Bandra Kurla Complex. BKC is a very modern part of Mumbai, so there are always glass buildings and expensive cars around. But inside our office at number 2, it is much more down-to-earth. We work with industrial fabrics and filtration products. It is technical work, and our desks are usually covered in fabric swatches, technical data sheets, and half-empty coffee cups. We do not have a big fancy reception area. You just walk in and you will see us looking at spreadsheets or talking to the factory on the phone. The commute to Bandra East can be a nightmare because of the traffic, so we are usually a bit tired when we get in. But we get our work done. We deal with big industrial clients who need very specific types of fabric for their machines. It requires a lot of attention to detail so we do not send the wrong grade of material. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world; we just want to make sure the orders are correct. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how things work. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the afternoon emails. It is a busy, practical office in a very busy part of the city.
