Khelaiyya

Khelaiyya is based out of A 102 Arihant, which is in Sudha Park. We are right opposite Shanti Park, tucked into the Vallabh Baug Extension Lane in Ghatkopar East. It is a nice little corner of the world, though it can get pretty crowded during the festival seasons. This isn't some high-end studio with mirrors on every wall and expensive lighting. It is a practical space where we get together and work on our projects. We mostly focus on things related to our local culture and traditions, especially when the big events come around. People around here know us because we have been part of the community for a long time. We don't really do much in the way of big advertising. Most of the time, someone just stops by the office to ask a question or see what we are up to. The office can be a bit disorganized, with papers and costumes sometimes piled up in corners, but we know where everything is. It is a very local operation. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It is just us trying to keep things going and staying busy with what we enjoy. It gets loud and busy sometimes, but that is just part of being in Ghatkopar. We are just regular people doing our thing in a way that feels right to us, without any of that fancy talk.
