Khamkar Bandhu

We are based in Shop No 41 within the industrial estate area. The address says Parel, Varasia, Vadodara, which can be a bit confusing for some people. Khamkar Bandhu is a name we’ve used for a long time. Being in an industrial estate means we are surrounded by workshops, trucks, and a lot of noise. Our shop isn't a place for window shopping. It’s a functional space where we get things done. We usually have a lot of items coming in and going out throughout the day. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor is worn down from all the movement. We don't spend much on decorating because we are too busy with the work itself. It’s a family-run thing, or at least it feels like that with the guys who work here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the day’s tasks. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to finish. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We know the other workers in the estate, and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or a hand with something heavy. We’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts through the estate. It’s just a regular day-to-day grind for us, making sure we handle our business right there at Shop 41. We aren't going anywhere and we don't try to sound high-end.
