You can find us on the 1St Floor of Natraj Market in Malad West, specifically at 119 A. Being on Station Road means the crowd is absolutely constant and the noise from the trains and the shoppers never really ends. We do publicity work here and our office is tucked away above the main market stalls. You have to walk up the stairs which are often crowded with people carrying bags or merchandise. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of posters and equipment taking up space. It’s a lively place to be though, because you can feel the energy of the market right under your feet. We usually start our day by clearing off the desks and checking what needs to be printed or put up. The windows don't block out much of the noise from the station road but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We have a small team and we mostly just focus on getting the word out for different local things. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit and wait, or go down for a snack in the market. It’s a very local way of working and we like being right in the middle of all the chaos of Malad. It’s not a polished office but it works for what we need to do.
