Ketan Marriage Bureau

We have been sitting here at Borivali West for a long time now. The office is on 23rd Road, at number 1. It is not a very big space but it gets the job done for what we do here. Most days start with opening up the shutters and dusting off the desks before the first people arrive. There are a lot of files stacked up against the wall because we still like to keep things on paper sometimes. People come in, mostly parents, and they sit on the plastic chairs we have. We talk about their kids and what kind of life they are looking for. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window, but the ceiling fan works okay. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who know how to handle the records. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it is just quiet. Borivali is a busy place, and being on this road means we see a lot of people walking by to the market. We just keep track of the names and the photos people bring in. It is a lot of looking through books and matching things up. There isn't much to it, just honest work helping folks out. We have been in this same spot for years, so everyone around here knows where to find us if they need to ask about someone.
