Finding us isn’t too hard if you are familiar with Vile Parle East. We are located at 8/C in the Vora Estate. It’s an old industrial estate on Shahaji Raje road. Most people use the Suncity Cinema as a landmark when they are coming to see us for the first time. The estate itself can be a bit of a maze with all the different units tucked away, but we’ve been in this corner for years. We handle a lot of boxes and wrapping materials every day. The space stays quite dusty because of all the cardboard, but we try to sweep it out every evening. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers moving things around. The trucks come in early in the morning to drop off supplies and that’s usually when things are most chaotic. Once the morning rush is over, it gets a bit quieter inside. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the records. Sometimes the neighbors from the other units come by to chat or borrow some tape. It’s a regular job, nothing too exciting. We just make sure the packaging is ready when people need it. The fans in the ceiling make a lot of noise but they keep the air moving during the summer. We like being near the cinema because there’s always somewhere to grab a snack in the afternoon. It gets very hot in the afternoons but we just keep working.
