We’re over at Karnani House, which is tucked away on Vithoba Lane in Vithal Wadi. It’s one of those spots that’s easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. No. 21 is where we do all our business. Being in a place named after the company makes it feel a bit more like home. We deal with pharmaceuticals, mostly the wholesale side of things. There’s always boxes being moved and ledgers being updated. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We don’t see the point in changing what isn’t broken. Vithal Wadi is a crowded area, so there’s always something happening outside our door. Sometimes the traffic makes deliveries a headache, but we’ve learned the best times to schedule the trucks. Inside, it’s mostly just us keeping track of the inventory. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. They know where to find us. We don’t do much in the way of brochures or fancy websites. If you need to know something, you just ask. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even though we are a private limited company. We take our time with the orders to make sure nothing gets mixed up. It’s just a steady, daily grind of making sure the medicine gets to the shops.
