Karma Trading

Our office is at Karma Trading, right on the third floor of Plot No 302. It's inside the Tirupati Industrial Estate area in Subhash Nagar. What’s interesting is that we are actually opposite the Chief Minister’s bungalow, so there’s always police around and the roads stay pretty clean for the most part. Being on the third floor means we have to wait for the lift quite a bit, especially when the other businesses are moving their stock in the morning. The Mansaro Malabar Hill area has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk around. We’ve set up our workspace to be as practical as possible. There are stacks of files and some samples laid out on the big table. We don't really do much decorating because we are too busy with the trading side of things. It can get quiet up here compared to the street level, which helps when we need to think. Most of our neighbors are also in trade, so we see the same faces every day at the tea shop downstairs. We started out with just a few desks and now we’ve filled up most of the room. It’s a decent place to work from. Sometimes we watch the cars go by the bungalow across the street during our lunch break. It is just a regular office life for us, keeping track of things and making calls. We've been here a while now.
