Karishma Pharma Machines

The shop is located at 22 4040 Ghoga Street along Saswad Road. It’s an industrial kind of area, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming somewhere nearby. We spend a lot of time in the workshop area where the air smells like oil and cold steel. It’s a big space but it feels small because of all the heavy equipment we have sitting around. Most of the guys here wear overalls that have seen better days. We don’t really have a fancy reception or anything like that. If you walk in, you’re likely to find someone with grease on their hands. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, because once the afternoon hits, the tin roof makes things pretty warm inside. Saswad Road stays busy with trucks moving in and out all day long. We have a small corner for our tea breaks where we sit on plastic stools and talk about the news or whatever is happening in the neighborhood. Dust is a constant battle here, no matter how much we sweep. It just comes with the territory of working with machines. We just focus on getting the parts fitted and making sure everything runs like it’s supposed to. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without much of a break.
