Our office is tucked away in Laxmi Villa, right there on M. G. Road in Kandivali West. It’s pretty easy to find if you look for the Kala Hanuman Temple across the street. Having the temple right there is a nice landmark for anyone coming to visit us for the first time. The building itself is unit number 302, and it’s a typical Kandivali setup—kind of crowded but full of life. We handle a lot of different chemical and pharma stuff here at Unicorn Pharmacem. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just coordinating shipments and making sure our records are right. The street outside is always humming with people going to the temple or the local shops. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking nearby, which is just part of being in this area. Inside, our desks are usually piled with files and the occasional tea cup. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just a group of us working through the daily grind. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our spot in Laxmi Villa stays pretty much the same. We try to keep things simple and just do what’s expected of us every day. It’s a lot of routine work, but it keeps the business moving. Most evenings, we close up and join the crowd heading toward the station. It is just how we operate.
