Ashutosh Impex Mumbai is on the second floor of the Swadeshi Mktg Building. The address is Off No. 219 on Kalwa Devi Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how Kalwa Devi Road is. It is packed. There are people everywhere and the shops are squeezed in tight. Our building, Swadeshi Mktg Building, is one of those old ones with narrow stairs. Carrying things up to the second floor is a bit of a workout. We are in Office No. 219. It is a small space, but we make it work. There are files and samples all over the place. Ashutosh Impex Mumbai handles a lot of different things. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who drop by. The window looks out over the street, so we can see the chaos down below. It is always loud with the sounds of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It’s just a room in an old building where we do our trading. We know the other people on the second floor. Everyone is just trying to get their work done. Kalwa Devi Road is the heart of the business for us. We wouldn't really know what to do in a quiet place. We just keep things moving.
