Kalpana Park

Kalpana Park is situated on Marve Road, just before you hit the Bageecha Hotel. We are right opposite Ruia Lawn in Rathodi Village, which is a part of Malad West that still feels a bit like the old days. It is a big open space that we look after. We have been here for a long time, and the landscape has changed quite a bit around us. People usually come to us when they need a bit of outdoor space for an event or just to get away from the cramped city streets. It isn't a five-star resort or anything like that. It’s just a practical, honest piece of land with some trees and open ground. We spend a lot of our time cleaning up after parties or making sure the grass doesn't get too long during the monsoon. Dealing with the weather is our biggest challenge, especially when the rains are heavy on Marve Road. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. Usually, it's just one of us answering the phone and showing people around the grounds. We like the quiet mornings before the noise of the traffic starts up. If you're looking for a place that feels real and isn't all polished up for photos, that is what we have here. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but it’s ours and we take care of it.
