Kalinga Express

We operate out of Sachin Sadan on M B Road in Andheri East. Being in this part of town means there is always traffic, so we are used to the sound of horns and engines all day long. Kalinga Express is basically just a lot of boxes and clipboards. We don't have much in the way of decoration. Most of the space is taken up by packages waiting to go out or stuff that just arrived from the trucks. It is a lot of lifting and moving things around. Some days are slower than others, but usually, we are rushing to get everything sorted before the drivers leave for their rounds. My brother and a couple of guys from the neighborhood handle the heavy work. We have had this spot for a few years now. It is not a fancy office with air conditioning that works all the time. We just keep the doors open to let some air in when it gets humid. People stop by to drop things off and we weigh them on the old scale in the corner. We don't use much marketing because people around Andheri just know we are here. It is honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes a parcel gets delayed because of the heavy rain or a vehicle breakdown, and we just have to explain it to the customer. We do our job and try to get home before it gets too late.
