Ambica Pharma

We are located at No. 42/44 Babu Genu Road, specifically Shop No. 14 on the 2nd floor of the Om Shanti Co Operative Housing Society. It is right in the middle of Kalbadevi, which is a very crowded and busy part of the city. To get to us, you have to navigate the narrow streets and then head up the stairs. The shop is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling to hold all the medicine stock. It is mostly wholesale work we do here, so there are always workers carrying bags or boxes up and down the stairs. It is dusty and noisy outside, but we have got used to the sound over the years. We spend a lot of time on the phone or writing out bills by hand. The light in the hallway is usually a bit dim, but our shop is bright enough. We know the other shopkeepers on the floor, and we often share tea in the late afternoons. There is no fancy lobby or a receptionist here. You just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the counter. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like Kalbadevi, a little chaos is just normal. It is a tough place to work sometimes because of the crowd, but it is where all the trade happens.
