Working at K S K Worldwide Courier means you get used to the sound of planes taking off and landing pretty much all day long. Being located right on Andheri East Airport Road has its ups and downs, mostly because the traffic can get really backed up during the evening hours. The office is a bit crowded with boxes and rolls of brown tape sitting in the corners, but we know where everything is. It’s not one of those glass buildings you see in the movies, just a regular place where we handle whatever comes through the door. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy sorting through the paperwork to worry about that. Sometimes the heat in Andheri East gets to be a bit much, so we keep the door halfway shut to stay cool. People come in with all sorts of things they need to send, and we just write down the details and get it sorted. There is a tea stall just a few steps away that makes a decent cup, so there is usually a couple of empty glasses sitting on the side table by the end of the day. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stuff around, but it keeps us moving. We’ve been at this address for a while now, and most of the drivers know exactly where to pull over even when the road is full of cars.
