Jungle Lore

Our little shop is at Hendre Castle Building, Shop No-4 on Gokhale Road North in Dadar West. It’s a well-known building in the area, and being in Dadar means we’re right in the heart of the city’s bustle. The shop isn't massive, but we’ve filled it with everything related to our trips and nature outings. It feels a bit like a cozy den sometimes with all the maps and photos around. Gokhale Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of foot traffic and the sound of horns outside our door. We spend our days chatting with people who stop by to ask about wildlife or travel plans. It’s a very informal setup. We might be sitting on a stool drinking tea while we go over a map with someone. We don't really do the whole professional suit-and-tie thing. Most of us are more comfortable in old trekking gear. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors in the other shops are all friendly. Dadar West has a certain old-school charm that we really like. It’s a grounded place to run a business from. We’re usually here from morning until evening, just sorting out the logistics for the next group heading out into the wild. It’s simple, honest work, and we like the direct connection we have with anyone who walks through the door. There is usually some birding book lying open on the counter for people to flip through.
