Joy Bags

Joy Bags is located on the first floor of building 271 on Abdul Rehman Street in Oshiwara. We are right on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Road. It is a very busy part of the city, and the street downstairs is always full of people, carts, and vehicles. Getting up to the first floor is a bit of a climb, especially when we are carrying heavy boxes of stock. The space is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of bags. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific one because we have so many styles crammed into the shelves. I spend a lot of my time just unpacking new arrivals and trying to find places to put them. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of new fabric and plastic. It is not a fancy showroom by any means. It is a working warehouse and shop combined. I usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. People come in and out all day, mostly looking for something sturdy for work or travel. I have been in this trade for a long time, and I have seen the area change quite a bit over the years. It is a tough place to work because of the noise and the crowds, but it is where the business is. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk in.
