Hasti Creation

We’re based out of Jogeshwari East, which is a busy part of the city to be in. Hasti Creation is our small operation here. We don’t have a huge storefront on a main road, so it’s more of a local neighborhood vibe. Most of the time, we are busy with the actual making of things. There are always pieces of fabric and loose threads lying around the floor. We try to sweep up at the end of the day, but it’s a never-ending job. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment squeezed in. It gets loud when everything is running at once. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. Our neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families living nearby. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten to know the rhythms of the street. When the rain starts, we have to move things away from the windows. It’s not a polished corporate office, it’s just our workspace. We drink tea from the stall around the corner and just get through the daily tasks. Sometimes we’re here late into the night if there’s a lot to finish. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything else. We just focus on the creations we’re putting together and hope they turn out okay. It’s just us doing our thing in Jogeshwari. We stay focused on the work and let the rest take care of itself.
