Jodhpur Sweets & Farsan

Jodhpur Sweets & Farsan is located at Shop no 1 and 2 on Bamroli Road. We are right in the Mukti Nagar area of Andheri East. Having two shops joined together gives us a bit more room to work, but it still feels small when we have a lot of stock. The front part is where we keep the glass cases for the sweets. The back part and the second shop are mostly for the frying and the prep work. Bamroli Road is often busy with bikes and people, so it gets a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time cleaning the counters. We make everything right here in the back. The smell of the farsan frying is something you can notice from down the block. We don't use a lot of big fancy machines. It’s mostly just us using our hands and some old-fashioned tools. Andheri East is a crowded place, but Mukti Nagar has a bit of a local feel to it. We know most of the people who come in. They aren't strangers; they are neighbors. We work long days, especially when there’s a holiday coming up. We don't have a big boss or a corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure the shelves are full. Sometimes we make mistakes and have to start a batch over, but that’s just part of it. We are just a regular shop doing our thing on Bamroli Road and we plan to stay here.
