You’ll find Jhaveri Noble India Private Limited right in the heart of Zaveri Bazar. We are in Choksi Chambers, located on the ground floor at Plot 117/119 in Agiary Khara Kuva. If you know Kalbadevi, you know how packed these lanes get. It’s the old center of the gold and jewelry trade in Mumbai. There’s no place like it. The air is always full of the sound of people bargaining and carts moving through the narrow streets. Our office is right there on the ground floor, which is good because we see everything that happens. It’s a small space, but in Zaveri Bazar, every inch of space is used for something. We’ve been here long enough to know all the neighbors. We deal with the noble metals side of the business. It’s a lot of weighing, testing, and keeping the books straight. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or glass walls. It’s an old building with a lot of history. We just sit at our wooden desks and get on with the day. Sometimes it’s so loud outside you can barely hear the phone, but that’s just part of the charm of working in the bazaar. We don't try to look like a modern bank or anything. We’re just a traditional business in a traditional place. The shop is usually open late into the evening because the bazaar never really stops. We take a short break in the afternoon for some snacks and water.
