You can find Jhama Sweets over in Sion, specifically in Building No 283, which is the Meghdoot Buil. We’ve been making sweets here for a long time. The kitchen is always hot and smells like sugar and milk. It’s a constant cycle of frying, boiling, and tray-setting. We don’t really have a big corporate setup; it’s just us and the staff making things by hand like they’ve always been made. The mornings are the busiest because that’s when the fresh batches come out. Sometimes the floor gets a bit sticky, but that’s expected when you’re working with syrup all day long. People come from all over this part of Sion to pick up boxes for weddings or just a little something for after dinner. We have our regulars who come in every single day for the same thing. It’s nice to see familiar faces. The Meghdoot Buil is a landmark for us, and we feel right at home in this corner of the city. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. The smell of the food usually brings people in anyway. It’s a simple business, really. We make the sweets, put them in the glass cases, and hope people enjoy them. There isn't much more to it than that. We just try to keep things consistent day after day and keep the customers happy enough to come back and see us again.
