Our office is over in the C Wing of the Aristo building, Office No 207. If you are looking for us in Andheri East, we are directly opposite St Johns Church. It is a busy spot with a lot of traffic outside, but inside we are usually buried in resumes and phone calls. We deal with human resources and finding people for jobs, which means there is always someone coming in for an interview or a meeting. The office has a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets that are probably too full. We aren't a big corporate firm with glass walls; it is more of a practical place where we sit and talk to people about their work history. Some days the phones do not stop ringing and other days it is quiet enough to actually sort through the paperwork. Being across from the church makes it easy to give directions to people who are coming here for the first time. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at job listings and talking to managers who need more staff. It gets a bit chaotic when three people show up at once for the same role, but we manage to get through it. The tea guy comes around twice a day, which is usually when we take a short break from the screens. We just try to help people find where they fit in different companies without making it too complicated. It is just everyday work for us.
