Jcz Sound & Events

We run Jcz Sound & Events out of Bhoomi Park in Malad West. Specifically, we are in A-1/204. Our place is in Bafira Nagar, which is right near the Billabong School. It’s a residential area, so we try not to be too loud when we are testing out the equipment. The apartment is where we keep most of our sound boards, cables, and smaller speakers. We started this because we liked music and setting things up for parties. It’s not a big corporate business. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the gear. Sometimes our living room gets completely taken over by wires and boxes before a big event. It can be a bit of a mess, but we get it sorted before we head out. Malad West is a good spot to be in because we can get to most places in the suburbs fairly quickly. We don't have a showroom or a fancy office. If people want to see what we have, they usually just meet us at a gig or come by the flat. We don't use a lot of marketing talk. We just tell people what we have and what we can do. Sometimes things break or we have to fix a connection on the fly, but we’ve gotten pretty good at it. It’s just a small local operation trying to keep the music going. We like what we do and we keep it simple.
