You can find us on the first floor of Malhotra House, which is tucked away in Ramnagar. We are right by the Nanakram Super Market, so it’s never quiet around here. There is always the sound of people shopping and trucks unloading goods downstairs. Our office at number 8 Dwarkadas Cross Lane is pretty small and usually feels a bit cramped with all the boxes and papers we have lying around. We handle a lot of trading stuff, which mostly means we spend all day on the phone or typing out emails to people in different cities. It’s a lot of back and forth about shipping dates and prices. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor feel a bit steep after a long day of work. We’ve got a couple of old desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. It’s not a fancy place for meetings, but it gets the job done. We usually order some food from the stalls nearby for lunch and eat while we work. The name of the company sounds a bit bigger than we actually are. It’s just a few of us trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the suppliers are happy. We don’t do anything too complicated, just buying and selling things and trying to make sure the math adds up at the end of the month. It’s a busy life in a crowded market area.
