Javed Decorator

Javed Decorator is run out of Room Number 1 on Plot Number 46 in the Shivaji area of Govandi. It’s a small, practical space that serves as our main base for everything we do. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or soft chairs. It’s mostly just a room filled with the tools and materials we need for decorating jobs around the local area. You’ll find things like hammers, nails, bundles of fabric, and maybe some leftover decorations from a previous event sitting in the corner. The Shivaji plot is a busy place with a lot of people living and working close together, so there is always a lot of noise and activity right outside the door. We usually start our days pretty early to get a jump on the heat before it gets too bad in Govandi. Most of our work is done on-site, so Room 1 is mainly where we store things and plan out the next day’s schedule. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us and has been our home for a good while now. We don’t spend much on advertising or making the place look polished. We just focus on the task at hand and making sure we have everything packed in the van before we head out. It’s a basic, honest way to run a small business in this neighborhood, and we like it that way. We just do the work as it comes.
