Jaksons Pharma is right here on the ground floor of Bhatru Chhaya Chs Ltd on Gokhale Road. If you know Vile Parle East, you know how busy it gets around here. We spend most of our mornings just getting things ready before the sun gets too high in the sky. The shop is at number 83/A, and it is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when the new stock comes in through the door. Gokhale Road is always full of people walking to the station or just heading out for their daily errands. We have been sitting in this exact spot for quite a while now. The ceiling fan keeps humming in the corner and sometimes the noise from the heavy street traffic is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few weeks. Parle East has a certain rhythm to it that never really stops. We just open up the shutters, check what is sitting on the shelves, and wait for the day to officially start. There is not anything fancy about the setup we have here. It is just a regular pharmacy counter with rows of boxes and some old ledgers we use. Sometimes the monsoon rain splashes onto the front steps if the wind is blowing the wrong way. We have a few plastic chairs for when things are slow. Most days are just about matching the orders and making sure the fridge is running right for the medicines. It is a simple routine.
