Jaiswal Sweet Farshan Mart is located at 13/1 in the Miller ganj area of Matunga East. We have been here for a long time, and we’re a well-known fixture in this part of the neighborhood. The shop itself is filled with the smell of sweets and fried farshan, which is what we do every single day. We are an old-school kind of place, with glass counters and big metal trays stacked up. There isn’t much room to move around when it gets busy, but we make it work. Our morning starts very early because there is a lot of prep work involved in making everything from scratch. We don't use any high-tech machinery; it’s mostly just us working with our hands and big pots. The staff here has been around for years, and we all know each other’s habits. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. We just focus on the daily routine of cooking, packing, and talking to the people who walk through the door. Matunga East is a place with a lot of history, and we feel like our shop is just a small part of that. Sometimes the rain comes down hard on the street outside and we have to pull the awning out to keep the customers dry. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day.
