Jain Sweet & Farsan House

Jain Sweet & Farsan House is at Goregaon West 153. This is a very busy part of town and Goregaon West never really seems to sleep. Our place at 153 is right in the middle of all the noise. We specialize in farsan and sweets. You can hear the trains passing by from here if the traffic goes quiet for a second. The morning always starts with the big pots of oil heating up in the back. We make everything fresh every day. Jain Sweet & Farsan House has been around for some years now and it’s a family-run kind of thing. No fancy bosses in suits here. Just us in our aprons doing the work. The counter is always a bit sticky no matter how much we wipe it down. That’s just the nature of selling sweets. People come in with their bags and their shopping lists. We weigh things out and wrap them up in paper. It’s a repetitive job but we actually like it. Number 153 is an old building with thick walls, but you can still hear the scooters honking outside all day. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to complain about how hot it is. We usually agree with them. It’s always hot near the stoves. We don’t use any fancy apps to run the business. People just walk in. If they like what they eat, they come back. That is our only real plan.
