Jain Decorators

Jain Decorators is tucked away in a pretty specific spot. We are located at Room No 765 in Chawl No 96, near the Jalahalli area and Peenya. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you aren't from around Goregaon West or familiar with the 100 Feet Kiadb Ring Road. We even have the Sidd area nearby which people use as a landmark. We’ve been doing decorations for a long time now. Our space is usually crowded with fabrics, poles, and lights. It’s a bit messy because there is always a wedding or a party we are preparing for. We aren't a big fancy agency. It’s just us, some local workers, and a lot of heavy lifting. When a festival season comes around, we barely sleep. We are out on the road most of the time, setting up stages or hanging flowers. This small room is where we keep all the inventory and plan things out on paper. It’s a real grassroots business. We started small and stayed that way because it’s easier to manage. People in the chawl know us well. We talk to the vendors every morning. It’s a lot of physical work, dragging things in and out of trucks. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Word of mouth is how we get our jobs. It’s a simple life, filled with colors and the smell of fresh marigolds sometimes. We just try to make things look nice for people’s big days.
