You can find us on the ground floor of Shah Baug 1, right on Pedder Road. We are tucked in next to the Prabhu Kunj building, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for the place. Working at J2C Events is mostly about staying on top of a lot of moving parts. Since we’re on the ground floor, it’s easy for people to drop in and talk about whatever they have coming up. The office isn't massive, but it’s got enough room for our desks and all the stuff we need to plan things out. Pedder Road can be quite a busy stretch of Mumbai, so there’s always a bit of street noise coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the office is full of samples and brochures, and other days it’s relatively tidy. It depends on what’s happening that week. We don’t really go for anything too formal here. Most of us just wear comfortable clothes and focus on getting the work finished. It’s a straightforward environment where everyone knows what they need to do. We’ve been in this spot for some time now and it feels like home to the team. We just handle the tasks as they come in and try to stay organized enough to keep things running. It’s a lot of coordination and just making sure nothing gets missed along the way.
