We are based out of Khar West in the Sai Krupa Welfare Society. It’s Phase Iii, near 15Th Main and 26Th Cross, and we are also near Dand. It’s a bit of a maze back here in these lanes, but we’ve been here long enough to know the shortcut routes. We do music and entertainment for different functions. It’s mostly local stuff for people in the neighborhood. We have a small space where we keep our instruments, speakers, and all the sound gear. It gets pretty loud sometimes when we are testing things out or practicing. The neighbors are mostly patient with us, maybe because they like the music. We are just a bunch of people who love music and managed to turn it into a regular job. We don’t have a polished corporate look or wear suits. We wear regular clothes and work out of this small office. It’s more about the music and the sound for us than anything else. Khar is a great place to be because there are always celebrations and weddings happening nearby. We load up the van and head out to wherever the gig is. Sometimes it’s a big wedding, sometimes just a small get-together in a community hall. It’s hard work, especially the late-night packing and hauling equipment up the stairs. But we enjoy what we do and it keeps us going. Most people find us through word of mouth.
