J K Pharma is located at number 6 in the Saloni Apartments. We are on 56tps Road in Boriwali West. It is a decent area with a lot of movement during the day. Our shop is part of the apartment building complex. We have been here for some time now. The room is rectangular and we have filled every inch of it with medicines and supplies. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are working behind the counter. We have these old wooden cabinets that we use for the smaller bottles. They creak a little when you open them. We spend a lot of time checking expiry dates and making sure everything is where it should be. The road outside can get quite congested, especially with the rickshaws and cars trying to get through. We hear the honking all day long. It becomes like background noise after a while. We do not have a fancy computer system for everything; we still use a lot of handwritten ledgers. It feels more reliable that way to us. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the dampness coming through the walls. We put up some plastic sheets to protect the boxes. It isn't a perfect place, but it works for us. Most of our customers are locals who live in the buildings nearby. We recognize them by their voices before they even reach the counter. It is just a regular local shop.
