J J Party Why Not

Our shop is at G2 in the Deepak Building on Pedder Road. It’s right across from Jaslok Hospital and just behind Doctor House. Cumballa Hill is a busy area, so there’s always people walking by. We do party stuff, which means our space is usually overflowing with decorations and props. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside, especially when we’re getting ready for a big weekend. We’ve been at this plot, 755/8, for quite some time now. People around here know us as the place to go when they have a birthday or something to celebrate. We don’t have a fancy website or anything like that. We just have a lot of things on our shelves and a desk where we handle the bookings. It gets quite frantic when multiple people want things at the same time. We try to keep things simple. You come in, tell us what you’re planning, and we see what we have in the back. Sometimes we’re out delivering things to buildings nearby. It’s a lot of walking up and down stairs. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on Pedder Road, but we’re still tucked away here in the G2 unit, just keeping at it day by day. It can get a bit dusty with all the streamers and paper around, but that’s just the nature of the work. We usually have the radio on and just keep moving boxes. It’s a small life, but it keeps us on our feet.
