We’re located on the second floor of Ambe Bhavan, which is an old building right on Linking Road in Khar West. If you’ve ever tried to find parking around here, you know it’s a bit of a nightmare. The building has that classic Mumbai feel, 624/A is the door. We’ve been here for quite some time now, focusing on the expo business. Our office isn’t huge, but it’s filled with folders and floor plans. Linking Road is always buzzing with shoppers and traffic, so there’s never a quiet moment if the windows are open. We usually start the day early before the shops downstairs open up. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork, making sure things are lined up for the next big trade show. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have all the staff in, but we make it work. The chai wallah downstairs knows our order by heart now. We don’t really bother with fancy furniture or modern glass walls. It’s a working office where we deal with the nuts and bolts of exhibitions. Sometimes the monsoon makes the old walls a bit damp, but that’s just part of being in this part of town. We like being in Khar because it’s central for everyone to get to. It’s just a normal, busy office trying to keep everything organized in the middle of the chaos. We just keep our heads down and get the bookings done for the exhibitors.
