We are based at unit number 6 in the Lakshmi Industrial Estate, over in the Lower Parel area. It is right by the 4th Cross, which is not far from the Peninsula Corporate Park. The whole neighborhood used to be full of mills, and you can still feel that history in the way the buildings are shaped around here. Our space is more about function than style. We do a lot of advertising work, but our office looks more like a busy workshop most of the time. There are posters pinned up on every wall and stacks of proofs sitting on the tables. It gets quite busy during the week with people and trucks coming in and out of the industrial estate. The walk from the main road can be a bit dusty, and there is almost always some kind of loading or unloading happening right next door to us. We don't have a shiny glass entrance like the big corporate towers you see nearby. It is a bit more grounded and gritty here. We spend our days on the computers or talking through different ideas for the next project. The light in the afternoon isn't great, so we have a few extra lamps scattered around the desks. It is a place where we actually make things. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and the whole estate gets very quiet except for a few units like ours. It is a hardworking neighborhood.
