We are based out of Savitri Kunj on S P Road in Dahisar. Our spot is in the Gandhinagar area, pretty close to the Nitin Industrial Complex. Being near the industrial side of the city helps us out because we are moving stuff between different cities all the time. The office itself is a bit old-fashioned. We have some heavy wooden desks and a lot of paper logbooks stacked up. It’s not the kind of place with glass walls or fancy computers everywhere. We focus more on making sure the drivers know their routes and that the trucks stay in good shape for the long hauls. Dahisar is right at the edge of the city, so it serves as a good starting point for trips heading out of Mumbai. The staff here has been with us for a long time. We know each other's families and we usually eat our tiffin together in the small back room during the break. The traffic on S P Road can be quite a mess during the peak hours, so we try to plan our arrivals around that schedule. It gets quite dusty with all the construction and the factories nearby, but that’s just part of the daily environment for us. We don't spend any money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Most of our resources go into keeping the vehicles running. It’s hard work and the hours are often quite long.
