Our office, Intellectuals The, is situated in the 103 Cinestar Office Complex, which is quite close to the railway station in Kandivili West. Being near the station is a bit of a double-edged sword because the crowds are huge, but it makes the commute easier for everyone. The building itself is usually bustling with people going to various offices. We’re on the first floor, so we don't have to wait for the elevator much, which is a small win in a place like this. Inside, the space is pretty simple. We have our desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of lists. We don't really go in for the whole modern office decor thing; we just need a place that works. Most of our day is spent coordinating different tasks and making sure things are on track. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes the noise from the station drifts in, but you get used to it after a week or two. We’ve been in Kandivili for a decent amount of time and we’ve seen shops open and close all around us. It feels like a real community here. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a big fancy lobby. We just want to get through our to-do lists and make sure everything is handled properly. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it seems to suit us just fine in this little corner of the city.
