Integrated Architect & Desiner (I) Pvt Ltd is based out of Ratnagiri. It’s a different pace here compared to the big cities like Mumbai, though we still have plenty to keep us on our toes. The office is a place where we spend most of our daylight hours, looking at maps of land or floor plans for new houses. Being in Maharashtra 400037 gives us a specific kind of environment to work in. Local weather and the way people live in this region are things we have to consider every day. Our team is small, and the high-pressure corporate style isn't really our thing. We prefer sitting down with a client and just talking through what they want to build. There’s a lot of back and forth, and sometimes we have to tell people their ideas won't fit the space they have. Practicality is key for us. The office is often filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes the rain if the windows are open. Doing both architecture and design work means it's a bit of everything. One hour might be spent talking about a roof and the next about what kind of tiles would look okay in a kitchen. Things just keep moving along at their own speed. It’s a steady job and we’ve built up a good rhythm over the years here in Ratnagiri. Drawings and helping people get things built is what we do.
