Instyle Chocolate

We operate out of a flat on the 3rd floor of the Niran Vashat building in Mahalaxmi. It is at Mahavir Electronics Chowk, which is a busy area to navigate. Being in Flat No 304 means people have to come up the stairs or use the lift to find us. It is more of a workshop than a regular shopfront you’d see on the street. We spend our days melting chocolate and pouring it into various molds. The kitchen area gets quite warm, even with the fans running. We have stacks of gold and silver boxes piled up in the corner for packaging. Jashdan is a neighborhood where everyone seems to be in a rush. We mostly focus on getting the orders ready for people who know where to find us. It is a small operation, just a few of us handling the wrapping and the tempering. Sometimes the smell of cocoa is so strong it lingers in the hallway outside. We have to be very careful with the temperatures so the chocolate doesn't bloom or turn grey. It is a lot of sitting and doing detailed work with our hands. We don't have a big sign outside, so it feels like a bit of a hidden spot. We just keep our heads down and work through the orders as they come in throughout the week. The table space is always covered in foil and bits of paper.
