Our spot is in the RSM Boys Hostel building, specifically Room No-207. It’s over in Subhash Nagar, which is part of the Government Colony in Bandra East. Being in a hostel building makes for an interesting work environment. It’s not your typical office park or high-rise building. We deal with the usual Mumbai humidity and the noise from the street. India Today Group has been using this space for a while. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when everyone is in at once. We’ve got the 400051 pin code area pretty well covered. There isn’t much to say about the decor because we haven't really spent time on it. There are stacks of papers and some old equipment that probably needs to be cleared out. We just get on with it. Lunch is usually whatever we can find nearby or what people bring from home. It’s a very grounded way to work. You won’t find any fancy receptionists or marble floors here. It’s just us in a room, trying to keep things moving forward. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit, and we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a humble setup, but it serves its purpose for what we need to do every day. We’ve lived through plenty of monsoon seasons in this building now.
